Before opening a trading account through SmartFIN, identify the company named in your client agreement. Local introduction and onboarding assistance are separate from the services of the provider that operates the account. The agreement should explain who executes trades, holds client funds and handles account-related complaints.
What is SmartFIN’s role in Dubai?
SmartFIN’s published MT5 guide describes Smart Securities Financial Services L.L.C. as providing introductory services. The firm’s own website discloses UAE Capital Market Authority Category 5 licence number 20200000372.
Those disclosures describe a role in connecting clients with financial providers and assisting with onboarding. They state that the UAE firm does not execute trades, hold client funds or manage trading accounts. The exact current permissions should be checked against the official regulatory register.
Which company provides the trading account?
SmartFIN’s website names more than one international entity. Its published January 2026 execution policy identifies SSC Smart (MU) Ltd, Mauritius company number 234788 and licence number GB26205854. The footer also names SSC Smart FX Ltd in Cyprus.
A company appearing on the website does not establish that it will provide your account. Your application and client agreement must identify the entity relevant to your country of residence and account arrangement.
For an account contracted with SSC Smart (MU) Ltd, review its published risk disclosure and complaints policy, together with the agreement supplied during onboarding. Do not assume these documents apply to an account with another entity.
Questions before applying
Does a Dubai office mean the account is provided by a UAE execution broker?
The office location alone does not answer that question. Check the contracting entity and its permitted activities.
Does MT5 identify the regulated provider?
No. MT5 is the platform. The client agreement identifies the company responsible for the account.
How can I clarify my proposed account?
Contact SmartFIN with your country of residence and request the provider’s legal name, current permissions, and applicable agreements.
